Aman Siwa
Aman Siwa — "your giving will reach Egypt's borders." A development and relief project extending to the Siwa oasis on the western frontier.
Fifty volunteers trained and prepared to take part in the development work.
Seventy-five tongue-and-groove wooden roofs installed for families in Siwa and Abu Shrouf.
A trailer of in-kind assistance: 50 beds and mattresses, 35 electrical appliances and 400 food parcels.
Development side: a communal celebration for all participating children with theatre sketches; girls and boys training together in one hall, building their skills in cooperation and participation; and girls leaving their homes for the first time to attend storytelling training.
The head of the city council honoured all of the Enta Elkheir volunteers, and the heart of the palm was presented to the chair of the board of trustees in recognition of the work.
